WF231 takes the cable out of the equation. A 5000 mAh battery pack sits in the base, so the fountain can be placed anywhere a cat already likes to drink: a hallway, a bedroom corner, a balcony. The tank is clear PC, the top plate and drinking bowl are 304 stainless steel, and the whole unit weighs 1.4 kg when empty, which makes moving it for cleaning a one-hand job.

Water leaves the top plate through two outlets: a short straight spout for a quiet fall into the bowl, and a curved faucet-style outlet that pours a visible stream. The pump is wireless and stops when the water runs low, protecting it from dry running. Two working modes are available on the touch panel: sensor-triggered flow and interval flow, with the battery level shown on the same panel.
